Time

I love this time of year; it always feels like a new beginning--even more so than January 1. Back to school time, a change of seasons, a time of planning for the coming holiday season. As I get older, it seems to take a bit longer to get back into the swing of things--prioritizing, organizing, and the hardest task for me--time management. I used to be a good judge of how long things would take to complete. Now I have to triple the time (at least), adding time to just sit back and think about it.

I don't even want to think about time management...at all! That Country by Mail site certainly has some pretty things. Are those prices Euros? I certainly hope not!!

I feel that way in the fall too, with the Holidays fast approaching. Yes, why does it take so long to do something that used to take 15 minutes? I'm getting so I can't do anything except by myself; I think I get distracted talking.

Oooh, it is looking like fall out there! I was coming back from Owensboro yesterday afternoon and I noticed some of the trees chaning already. And last night, it just felt like autumn. Labor Day weekend and I am feeling like fall decorations!

Hi there! Fall is my favorite season. It always feels like a new beginning to me also. I guess because I do alot of planning in fall for the coming holidays/growing season etc.

What happened with the ceiling?

I agree with your thoughts about this time of year. Although my children are grown and past school-age years, I feel the same sense of need to get organized for the new season.

Yes, September always feels like new beginnings. I agree about the length of time it takes to accomplish anything now that I am old...too much I think. I do enjoy the thinking bit, though.

I think it is the thinking about it part that helps me the most.

Although I don't want to leave summer behind yet, because I'm not done swimming, I'm never done with that, but I do love Fall. Like you, I too feel like it's a new beginning when it's time for school to start again. It always makes me want to go shopping too. I think that sense of shopping for school supplies and clothes and then starting a new school year will be forever with me. My goodness, I've been out of school for 27 years and I still feel that way in September, no, I don't think it's ever going to change!

There is something in the air this time of year that causes me to desire purchasing pencils and sneakers! For the first time in 18 years, I don't have anyone to buy school supplies for. If I did, it would take me longer than it did in 1990! I agree that things take just a little more time than they used to!

Catching Up

It's been awhile...as usual, not much going on.  As I look through photos on my phone, I decided to do a little blog post. Last Monday...
