This week's round of ice storms gave us an early dismissal yesterday and a late opening today. The ice really is beautiful clinging to tree branches and everything in its path...like Autumn Clematis remnants...

and the Cafe Garden. The diamondy sparkle is beautiful, but the consequences of slipping--not so much! I left my car at work yesterday, in the underground parking garage...caught a ride home and a ride to work this morning. No ice chipping this week!
