Oh to be young again...

Yesterday afternoon when I got home from work, the neighbors were having a pool party...the house next door, filled with twentysomethings, erected a pool in the driveway last weekend. This week, they've added fencing. These guys know how to have fun...since the weather has warmed up, they've been out in the driveway grilling, playing games, drinking beer, and just having a good time.

It's a quiet Sunday morning now, but I just had to share a picture of the 2nd Street Beach. If only there would have been the scent of Coppertone in the air, the sounds yesterday afternoon would have taken me back to my early teen years at Meadow Lake...music, splashing, and fun.

Ah, sweet beach memories. Do you remember the little Coppertone girl?

Teresa, you so lucky to have some nice neighbors. Mine, well the only one that I have, is so unfriendly.

Ah yes, the smell of Coppertone is ever evocative.

I keep some of that coppertone handy, just for the purpose of taking me back ;) Did you get to drink a beer with them? LOL

Catching Up

It's been awhile...as usual, not much going on.  As I look through photos on my phone, I decided to do a little blog post. Last Monday...
