The week begins...

The garden/outdoor plants are really looking a little neglected. I'm a spring and autumn gardener...during the heat of summer, outdoors is the last place you'll find me. This time of year though is perfect for having a cup of coffee out in little garden area. I've transplanted all of the surviving houseplants and tossed the poor neglected ones that didn't make it. After a few scares this summer, the shamrock plant is full of blooms.

I spent lots of time today working on projects for school. It is definitely more work than the undergrad courses from last year; I just have to keep plugging along.

Oh, do I know how you feel about summer gardening. It is just too hot, but I do feel sad looking at my pitiful plants.

Yes, it's hard to get out there in the heat of summer (and I have the weeds to prove it) :-)

Presenting your plants in that format ( what is that format anyway??) makes them look wonderful, oh so lush and artistic.

Yup, take it one step at a time...one paper at a time...one assignment at a time. You'll arrive!

I'm right there with you, working on my master courses, too. Being a mom of an active teenager and trying to teach school and spend time with the hubby and the dog, too, well.........the projects are hard to keep at the top of the priority list. Hang in there! It's going to be worth it in the end.

Catching Up

It's been awhile...as usual, not much going on.  As I look through photos on my phone, I decided to do a little blog post. Last Monday...
