Pink Saturday

This little (?) fellow is from the Akron Zoo. Quite proper, don't you think? I finally pulled out my sweaters for fall and winter this week, and I have a disproportionate amount of varying shades of pink sweaters. All styles, all shades. I obviously am attracted to the pink displays in clothing stores.
While bead shopping (Hobby Lobby sale this week !), I decided to focus on pink beads for earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
They may look spring-like, but at least now I can replace the stand-by pearls with some pink jewelry!

    I adore flamingos. I spent most of my life in South Florida. When I was a little girl, I always wanted my father to drive by for me to see the flamingos.

    What a fantastic photo of the flamingo! And you know,....pink can carry over into fall and be worn with browns and then into winter and be worn with greys. I never put pink away ;)

    That flamingo is so pretty. Great beads (I could spend some $$ at Hobby Lobby each time I go - it's a hard place to just window shop!)
